THERACEWAY.BIZ is a smoke, alchohol, drug and profanity free racing facility (and we're still going to have a good time)! 
 
PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE. . .  Before buying used or ordering something online, check the legality of any component with your local raceway.  Our race program is designed, and our store is stocked, to make sure every racer has ready access to the very best class legal pieces.
 
PRO-FLEXI
     General rules:
          1)  All cars must be no more than 3.25" wide
          2)  Bodies:
                    a)  Any mass produced 1/24 scale body CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
                        THROUGH NORMAL DEALER DISTRIBURTOR CHANNELS is allowed.
                    b)  No air control devices may be added to the body.
                    c)  Body must be painted and opaque when sitting on tech block and
         &! nbsp;&n bsp;              viewed from above
                    d)  Body must have three identicals numbers
                    e)  Body must have painted driver figure
                    f)  No cut outs can be made in top of body for guide, wheel
                         or motor clearance.  The only openings allowed are those
                         representing sc! oops, e tc on the actual race car.
          3)  Chassis:
                    a)  Any stamped steel chassis CURRENTLY AVAILABLE THROUGH NORMAL
                        DEALER/DISTRIBUTOR CHANNELS can be used. 
                    b)  Chassis must clear tech block by .063 at rear and gear. 
                         (.032 clearance required at front)
                    c)  Chassis must have four wheels and! tires.
                        1)  Rear Tires must be minumum .750" diameter
                        2)  Front tires must be minumum .500"  diameter and have an
                             aluminum or plastic hub with a rubber tire.
                    d)  Each car is limited to one guide flag.
                    e)  All cars may use any axle (3/32" or 1/8"), bushings (3/32" or 1/8"), and
                        48 or 64 pitch gears CURRENTLY AVAILABLE THROUGH NORMAL
                        DEALER DISTRIBUTOR CHANNELS
 
     NOVICE CLASS:
          1)  Chassis:  Must be offered as a COMPLETE CAR by the CHASSIS
               MANUFACTURER THROUGH NORMAL DEALER/DISTRIBUTOR CHANNELS
               and have a list price of less than $65.00
                 Current chassis that meet this criteria:
                    Champion:  #410 Astro Chassis, #420 Turbo-Flex Chassis
                     JK Products:  #25017 Cheetah 7 (.030 thick center section
            ! ;             and pans)
                    Parma:  #588 & 588L Flexi-1, #595 Flexi-2, #605 Flexi-5
         2)  Motor:  May used any sealed 16D or  Super 16-D CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
             THROUGH NORMAL DEALER DISTRIBUTOR CHANNELS
                 a)  Current motors that meet this criteria
                      Parma:  #501 Sealed Deathstar 16D,  #502 Sealed Super 16D
                      Pro/Slot-SpeedFX:  #PS2002 Sealed & Balanced 16D, 
                              &nbs! p;  ;                   #PS2003 Sealed Super 16D
                      SEALS MUST NOT BE TAMPERED WITH - ANY QUESTIONABLE SEAL
                      WILL MOVE MOTOR TO "EXPERT" CLASS
                  b)  Modifications:  aftermarket springs, brushes, magnet zapping and
                                             soldering can bushing are specifically allowed.&nb! sp;
          3)  Body:  Must follow general rules and be .010 thick
          4)  Controller:  Limited to resistor type controllers AVAILABLE THROUGH
              NORMAL DEALER/DISTRIBUTOR CHANNELS with a list price of $85.00 or less.
 
     AMATEUR CLASS
       1)  Chassis:  Same as general rules for chassis
               a)  Additional allowable chassis:
                    JK Products:  #25011C, 250112C, & 25011D Cheetah 11 (Center
                        sections and pans may be mixed & matched)
                   Parma:  #601 Flexi-3 (racer may use all top plates available from
                        Parma for this chassis)
     &n! bsp;&nb sp;            Pro/Slot-SpeedFX:  #5000 & 5001 chassis.  May use #5002,
                          5003, or 5004 top plates
        2)  Motor:  Same as Novice class
                a)  Additional allowable motors:
                     Pro/Slot-SpeedFX:  #3001S Sealed Contender,
                         #3002S Sealed Super 16C.
                &! nbsp;&n bsp;   Kelly Racing:  #2023 Sealed Contender,
                         #2025 Sealed Super 16C, #3023 Sealed Super 16C,
                         #3025 Sealed Contender
          3)  Body:  Same as general rules for bodies.
 
     EXPERT CLASS
          1)  Chassis:  Same a general rules for chassis
          2)  Motor:  May use non-sealed Super 16C or lesser motors (this would
                           include 16D's, Super 16D's, Hornets & Contenders. 
                           All parts & set-ups must be CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
                          THROUGH NORMAL DEALER/DISTRIBUTOR CHANNELS.
                &n! bsp;&nb sp;        Motors can be assembled to standards conforming to recognized
                          parameters for GT-12 and/or Box-15. 
          3)  Body:  Same as general rules for bodies
